We were pleased this morning to welcome NAU junior Business Management major Daniel Lindner. Daniel is a Gilbert resident and a recent graduate of Williams Field High School. At NAU he is  president of his fraternity Pi Kappa Phi. The Ability Experience is a part of Pi Kappa Phi philanthropy and is dedicated to improving the lives of those with disabilities. Build America is a part of the Ability Experience where one travels for 6 weeks during the summer to various disability camps throughout the country for a week each and build accessible amenities and improvements at the camps and be a part of the campers lives and attempt to break down any negative perceptions of people with disabilities.  He is here today asking us to consider a donation or a sponsorship towards the $4000 goal he needs to raise to participate. Those who support will be honored through social media on the events. It is a non-profit organization.

Why does he want to go? He has been very involved with people with disabilities, participating in Best Buddies in High School and by working with Camp Civitan as a provider.  Once his fundraising goal is reached, he will be confirmed to attend the event.

Good luck Daniel in your work for a very worthy cause.
