The Gilbert Rotary Club conducted its first Team Trivia Challenge on Friday evening, March 2nd, at the Shakespeare Room of the SE Regional Library.  Teams competed for honors in ten categories of trivia ranging from science, the arts, music and religion to geography.  Nearly every member of the club was involved assigning tables to the teams, setting up silent auction items, offering raffle tickets and “mulligans” to the contestants, running the audio-visual, scoring the answers and tabulating the receipts.  Rex Albright emceed the event, Penny Bollinger and Colleen Kernaghan coordinated the auctions and our Interactors from Gilbert and Perry High Schools helped get the room ready and provided refreshments throughout the evening.  Funds from this event will support Gilbert Rotary in its various community projects for children, the elderly and the needy in our community.  President Curt Ward congratulates the Club for pulling together to make this fundraiser truly successful.
