The Navajo Water Project was featured in a news segment on PBSNewshour June 20th. The program featured a Navajo family of six, including 6-month old twin girls, who were getting running water installed in their home by DigDeep. Rotary Clubs in the United States, Mexico and India have contributed funding, including District Designated Funds and a Global Grant through the Rotary Foundation. The funding has provided installation of 18 such self-contained in-home water systems on the Navajo Reservation. Gilbert Rotary Club and Club Rotario San Andres Cholula (Mexico) sponsored the grant this year. The Sun Lakes Rotary Club is applying for a grant to provide an additional 25 systems in the next year.
